I’m seeing the Local Natives on Saturday night. Last time I saw the Local Natives was for free at the last night of their Spaceland residency and I knew none of their songs and it was one of the most passionate, undeniablely live.com shows I’ve ever seen.
Now they are playing their 2nd sold out show at the Music Box and I’ve listened to Gorilla Manor a shit ton since that Spaceland show. It makes me think that if they were that awesome in concert the last time when I saw them and I didn’t know any of their songs AND now they have some big-league tours under their belt, this show should be something special.
And the Love Language are pretty awesome too.
